Feeding our Neighbors
Congregations in Service, representing a diversity of Savannah congregations has been coordinating one-day volunteer service opportunities at various venues since 2004. In 2024, members of Mickve Israel still regularly participate in a variety of projects. Upcoming work day is May 5th.
A new project underway at CMI is support for the Lutheran Church of the Ascension's program to provide hot meals for those with food insecurity on the last Tuesday of each month. We will be cooking and serving meals to over 50 people, and you may sign up for either cooking or serving.
