Mickve Israel Membership and Member Related Matters Thank you to all of our current members for making Mickve Israel the wonderful synagogue that it is!
As we have a variety of membership types, there is certain to be one that suits you. If you would like to receive membership information, send your contact information along with any questions to Lauree and a packet of information will be mailed to you.
ATTENTION MICKVE ISRAEL MEMBERS: We need YOU to make our new family album complete! Although our photo sessions have ended and the directory is set for an early 2009 publication, you still have time to be included if you quickly send a good electronic photo to Lauree. Please let her know that you will be sending your small fee of $15 payable to Mickve Israel Sisterhood to the temple's post office box. Once our keepsake book directory is complete, we will also have a new online community especially for our members. Additional information will follow about this. Free directories are reserved for those participating in this congregational family project, but they can also be purchased for a nominal fee.
Donation Program Savannah's original health food store, Brighter Day, is working with the Jewish community. Purchases of kosher products at Brighter Day earn our Temple or our Sisterhood 5% of the purchase price! All you have to do is tell the clerk at check out that you'd like your purchase to be counted in the Jewish Organization's Donation Program. You can provide the below codes or have the clerk look up the code for you. (If the clerk isn't aware of this program, have him/her check with Peter or Janie Broadhead, the owners, or with another cashier who may be aware of the program.)
