Three Who Dared: Seminal Leaders of Mickve Israel and their Legacy
Rabbi Abraham Harris, the Honorable Solomon Cohen, and Abraham Einstein were three distinguished leaders of Congreation Mickve Israel and Savannah. Together, they led the campaign to build the synagogue in 1876. Rabbi Saul Rubin will speak about the role that each man played in the synagogue and Savannah. He will also talk about their descendants and legacy. |
