Congregation Mickve Israel is located in the Historic District of Savannah on beautiful Monterey Square on Bull Street (at 20 East Gordon Street). (directions) We offer tours of our historic sanctuary and museum during the week from 10 am through 1 pm and again from 2 pm through 4 pm. We request a suggested donation of $5 per person. The last tour of each session begins 30 minutes before the end of the session. We are closed on Jewish holidays and some federal holidays. If you need to verify our openings, double check with us. Touring our facility usually takes between thirty to forty-five minutes, but please allow extra time for browsing in our Judaica Shop. If you have a group that would like a tour, advance arrangements are required. Please send us an email with the details and we will get back in touch with you. Please note that our facility does not have a parking garage or lot, so be sure to bring change for the parking meters. There is ample on-street parking at either two-hour or five-hour parking meters. Take a virtual tour of our sanctuary by clicking here. Want to learn more?
