Friends of Mickve Israel is a society of people who support the work of our congregation. They may be members of other congregations or live a great distance away from Savannah. Founded in 1733, we are approaching our 275th anniversary, and we welcome you to become a part of the Mickve Israel extended family. Our Friends members help connect us to the outer world, and they make it possible for this historic Jewish community to survive and thrive. Funds from the Friends of Mickve Israel are used to maintain our beautiful sanctuary and our museum. Your membership contributes to the celebration of the Jewish heritage of Savannah and this special synagogue and community.
